Raising Natural Beef in Middle Tennessee
We are often asked how me ended up raising natural beef in middle Tennessee. Jason grew up on his working family farm in Ontario, Canada. He knew from a young age that he wanted to make his living in the agricultural community. Jason began learning about growing crops and raising livestock as a small child, and his passion for farming is as strong today as it was then. Jason has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Nutrition from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. Additionally he has over ten years of experience in the feed industry designing and balancing feeds for cattle and horses. Melissa also enjoys farm life, and horses have been her passion since she was a small child.
We knew that we wanted to build our lives around the things we enjoyed the most, and raising natural beef was an obvious choice for us. We enjoy both working with the cows and getting to know our customers. We especially enjoy educating people about their food supply and the many differences that can exist in what appears to be the same food item.
